Terms of service

About SoundRadar
SoundRadar is a desktop audio application for Windows. It is designed to process and route audio in your setup. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SoundRadar, our website, related services, and any subscription or license you purchase. By installing, running, or paying for SoundRadar, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software or our services.
How SoundRadar works (audio path, not game files)
SoundRadar operates only by working with the audio signal path on your PC. In particular, it functions by modifying and managing audio associated with the virtual audio device presented as the SoundRadar.gg Cable—the same role that would otherwise correspond to a generic HiFi virtual cable in your system, renamed and exposed under the SoundRadar.gg Cable name for clarity and branding within our product experience.
SoundRadar does not modify, patch, inject into, replace, or alter game files or any other application binaries, assets, archives, or protected content on your machine. It does not attach to game processes for the purpose of changing how games read or write their own data. Any interaction with games is limited to what naturally occurs when you route system or application audio through the virtual cable and our desktop app processes that audio stream—again, without touching game installation directories or game-owned files.
You are responsible for complying with the terms of service and end-user license agreements of any games or third-party software you use alongside SoundRadar. We do not authorize or encourage use that violates those agreements.
License and acceptable use
Subject to your payment (if applicable) and these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the SoundRadar desktop application in accordance with the plan you select. You may not sublicense, sell, rent, or commercially redistribute the software without our written permission.
You agree to use SoundRadar only through the official installer and updates we provide, and only to configure audio routing and features as exposed in the application. You must not use SoundRadar to circumvent technical protections, harass others, or break applicable laws.
Prohibited technical conduct
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble SoundRadar except where mandatory law allows; attempt to extract or reconstruct source code or internal engine details; bypass license or subscription checks; or create derivative works based on our software except as expressly permitted by us in writing.
You may not modify, replace, or tamper with the SoundRadar executable, embedded resources, or internal components beyond what the product's official interface allows. You may not rebrand or repackage the virtual cable or drivers in a way that implies an unofficial or modified distribution of SoundRadar.
System-wide audio settings remain under your control through Windows and the app; you must not use external tools to subvert SoundRadar in ways that violate these terms or that imply an unauthorized fork of our product.
Subscriptions, accounts, and changes
Paid features may require an account and an active subscription processed through our checkout and payment partners. Fees, renewal, and cancellation rules are shown at purchase and may be updated for new subscribers with reasonable notice. We may update the desktop app or the behavior of the SoundRadar.gg Cable integration for compatibility, security, or feature improvements, consistent with these terms.
Disclaimer and limitation
SoundRadar is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every audio device or game update, or a specific competitive outcome. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the software. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
Refunds
Refund requests are not handled inside the desktop application or through ad-hoc audio configuration changes. To request a refund, you must join our Discord and open a support ticket so our team can review your purchase and eligibility in line with our policies: https://SoundRadar.gg/discord.
Contact
For questions about these terms, billing, or your account, use Discord (ticket) when that is the appropriate channel, or other contact methods we publish on our website.
