Question 1

What is SoundRadar?

Accepted Answer

SoundRadar is a Windows desktop audio engine built for competitive Call of Duty: Warzone. It routes game audio through the SoundRadar.gg Cable virtual device to deliver ultra-low-latency spatial imaging, game-specific EQ profiles, and an optional on-screen radar overlay—without touching game files or memory.

Question 2

How do I install SoundRadar on Windows?

Accepted Answer

Download the installer from our download page, run SoundRadar.exe, and follow the setup wizard. It installs the SoundRadar.gg Cable virtual audio device automatically. Then set your game output to the cable and your headphones to the SoundRadar playback route—our tutorial walks through each step.

Question 3

Is the SoundRadar installer a virus?

Accepted Answer

No. The official SoundRadar.exe is not malware. Because we ship a niche audio tool outside the Microsoft Store, some browsers or SmartScreen may show a generic warning—that is common for independent Windows software, not proof of a virus.

Question 4

Where can I verify the installer on VirusTotal?

Accepted Answer

We publish the same public build on our download page with a direct link to its VirusTotal report so you can review vendor detections yourself before installing.

Question 5

Is SoundRadar safe to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SoundRadar runs as a normal Windows desktop app. It does not inject code into games, patch executables, or read protected game memory. It only processes audio on your PC and optionally draws a radar overlay on top of your display.

Question 6

Does SoundRadar modify game files or memory?

Accepted Answer

No. SoundRadar never edits game folders, saves, or binaries, and it does not attach to the game process. Everything happens through your Windows audio path and an optional overlay—similar to using a virtual cable plus a visualization app.

Question 7

Can I get banned for using SoundRadar?

Accepted Answer

SoundRadar is not an aimbot, wallhack, or macro. It does not automate input or expose hidden enemy data from game memory. It enhances how you hear and visualize audio cues. Anti-cheat risk is lower than cheat tools because we stay outside the game—but you are still responsible for each publisher's terms of service.

Question 8

Why does Windows or my browser warn about the download?

Accepted Answer

Independent installers that are not widely signed or distributed through the Store often trigger SmartScreen or browser reputation warnings until enough users install them. Download only from soundradar.gg, verify the VirusTotal report, and keep the file if you trust the scan.

Question 9

What do I need to run it?

Accepted Answer

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), the SoundRadar desktop app, and the SoundRadar.gg Cable virtual audio device from setup. A headset or speaker setup that supports spatial audio is recommended for the best directional cues.

Question 10

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Accepted Answer

Free includes the core engine with 14 configs, limited Audio Radar, one radar algorithm, one overlay draw mode, and standard Discord support. Pro adds +35 configs, full Audio Radar, +4 algorithms, +2 draw modes, and priority Discord support. Upgrade anytime from the app or pricing page.

Question 11

Do I need a credit card to try SoundRadar?

Accepted Answer

No. The Free tier is a full Windows install with no card required. You only pay if you choose a Pro subscription later.

Question 12

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Accepted Answer

Open the Pricing page, pick a plan, and complete checkout on soundradar.gg. Your license syncs to the desktop app after sign-in. You can also manage billing from your account profile.

Question 13

What games does SoundRadar support?

Accepted Answer

SoundRadar ships official game-specific configs for Warzone, Fortnite, Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, Battlefield 6, Black Ops 6, and Rust—with more titles coming soon. The spatial engine can process other Windows games, but these are our primary tuned presets today.

Question 14

Do I need Voicemeeter, Equalizer APO, or HeSuVi?

Accepted Answer

No. SoundRadar includes its own built-in equalizer, spatial engine, and SoundRadar.gg Cable routing. You do not need Voicemeeter, Equalizer APO, HeSuVi, or other third-party audio tools to run our official setup.

Question 15

Are SoundRadar configs and EQ profiles original?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every preset, equalizer curve, and spatial profile is built from scratch by our in-house audio team. We do not copy configs or EQ settings from other tools, creators, or communities—everything is designed and maintained by SoundRadar audio experts.

Question 16

How do I join the SoundRadar Discord?

Accepted Answer

Go to soundradar.gg/discord and you will be redirected to our official invite. Membership is free—use it for patch notes, configs, and community help even if you are on the Free tier.

Question 17

How do I get support on Discord?

Accepted Answer

After joining via soundradar.gg/discord, open a support ticket in the Discord server for setup, billing, or bug reports. Pro subscribers get priority in the support queue.

Question 18

Where else can I get help?

Accepted Answer

Besides Discord, check the Tutorial page for step-by-step setup, the Technology page for how the engine works, and our Terms of Service for official contact channels.
